Explore the Forth Rail Bridge an UNESCO site, the Forth Road Bridge and the spectacular new Queensferry crossing from the water. View Hopetoun House, Blackness Castle, the historic village of Culross and the 12th Century Inchcolm Abbey from a coastal perspective. Sea birds and seals are commonplace. You can be a spectator and admire the scenery be as hands on as you want in sailing the yacht – grab the wheel or hoist the sails! There will be many photo opportunities, so don’t forget your camera.
On the day of your experience, your Skipper Raymond will collect you from Port Edgar Marina and escort you down to yacht Chinwag, during which you will get the plan of the day ahead. Once aboard, you will receive a tour of Chinwag as well as a safety brief. Once completed, it will be time to cast off.
Once out of the marina, the sails will be hoisted as soon as possible (weather permitting) and we will tack and jibe our way east under the bridges and head towards the 12th Century Inchcolm Abbey. Refreshments from Forth Coffee and baking from the Little Bakery will be served.
All tours are subject to weather and in the event of cancellation, which we will endeavour to do by 6pm the preceding day, we will reschedule or refund the full cost.
